This series is my favourite series so far. It’s dark, mysterious, funny and romantic all at the same time. It makes you curious of what’s going to happen next. There are four books in this series so far: Shadows, The Hunt, Fever and Betrayal. Shadows Buy Now Weird things start to happen to Eve. First, she gets even more clumsy than usual. Then electronics start to break around her. At first she believes she has a poltergeist but soon realises it’s something a lot better. I love this book and would vote it my second favourite in this series, it’s a great way to start the series and it really explains things in great detail. It’s so hard to put down and a real page-turner. The Hunt Buy Now Eve’s supernatural gift id called back into action as one of her classmates gets murdered. She suspects that it isn’t your average murder or a vicious animal, so she decides to inspect a little further. This is my least favourite from this series, yet it was still highly enjoyable. You can kind of guess what was behind the murder, because with no demon there is no book. Fever Buy Now Deepdene or Demondene has been hit by a highly contagious plague. It could be just any normal plague but when bits of the victims flesh falls of in your hands you have to admit this isn’t any normal disease. This book is my favourite, not just of the series but of all the books I’ve read so far, which is a lot. At first their quite confused and worried about the plague but toward the end they have mixed feelings about the plague and eachother. Betrayal Buy Now Eve feels alone, more alone than she’s ever felt before. Her best friend and her boyfriend seem to be taking the opposite, she feels that they feel doubt toward her, but is she right? This is a great book. It shows the normal side of life as well as the crazy side. When you read this sometimes you feel like slapping some sense into her, then find out she’s right, but others you totally agree. |
