Anna Pasternak, 41, is the author of the Daisy Dooley Does Divorce column that has been running in the Daily Mail since 2004. The novel is based on the columns. A regular contributor to women's magazines and newspapers, Anna is the also author of the 1994 bestseller Princess in Love. She lives outside London with her daughter, and has a myspace page here
