 Chicklit’s favourite chef is Nigella Lawson. Apart from being extremely talented and utterly gorgeous, Nigella is a pretty mean cook. Now I know there's been a lot of publicity about Nigella versus Jamie Oliver but for me Nigella wins hands down. Her cooking is simple and easy to follow with a glass of Merlot on-hand.What makes me so passionate about Nigella's recipes is that she can write well so you're salivating before you've even unpacked the ingredients. How can anyone not lust after slut red raspberries in chardonnay jelly..hmm? And the best thing about Nigella's food is that is minimum effort with maximum impression - tasty, colourful and full of texture. Absolutely brilliant for dinner parties. Sorry Jamie.
