Divine and Content  - personal meditation training

Meditation is a bit like exercise – we know it’s fantastic for us for it but it often gets left until last on our to-do list, which more than not means that it never gets done.

One way of making sure that we do take out time to exercise is to hire a personal trainer who can train, advise, encourage and motivate us to continue and work-out regularly. Now Divine and Content has launched Divine and Content – a personal training service for meditation!

Divine and Content offers one to one personal (non-religious) bespoke meditation sessions. Rather than telling you that this is the right and only way to meditate, it takes you through a variety of meditation styles and techniques so that you can find something to suit you, your meditation goals and your lifestyle. There’s also support in between sessions, just to help you keep up with habit!

Clients begin with a two hour one to one session and can continue, just like a personal trainer, on a weekly, monthly or even occasional basis.

You’ve probably heard of many of the benefits of meditation such as…

* Stress Relief. Meditation reduces cortisol, the stress hormone.
* Promoting calmness, and the ability to balance work and life balance.
* Increased energy.
*Increased mental focus and creativity.
* Promoting better sleep patterns.
* Easing symptoms of PMT and the menopause.
* Slowing down the ageing process.
* Increased production in the workplace.
* Decreased cholesterol and lower blood pressure

Working with someone on a one to one basis (and having their support in between sessions) means that you’re more likely to keep to your routine and meditated on a regular basis and – just like exercise once again – the benefits really do stand out when you keep it up.

Divine and Content was set up by business woman Paula Gardner. MD of successful PR company www.doyourownpr.com. Meditation in particular has been a vital factor in dealing with the stresses of running her own business. Paula firmly believes that the benefits of regular meditative practice are so staggering that they need to be shared with as many people as possible.

Paula says: "We don't wear funny sandals or insist on faddy diets. We haven't retreated from the world - we're living right in the midst of it. We're busy people leading fun and fulfilled lives and we're passionate about using meditation and showing others how they can use it too. "
