| A Brand New Me For anyone who makes a New Year’s Resolution each year, only to have broken it by the end of the week! On December 31st, stuck-in-a-rut Leni Lomond vows that things will be different this year. She’s going to get herself a new job, new man, new life... Less than a month into the New Year, Leni’s first resolution is fulfilled when she accepts a job as PA to astrologer and TV celebrity Zara Delta. And her new work assignment - to date men from every sign of the zodiac and then report back to her batty boss – looks like it might just help her with the second. But as she is plunged into a series of disastrous dates with wannabe rock stars, patronising therapists with beards straight out of The Joy of Sex and blokes who act like overgrown teenagers, Leni's soon ready to give it all until her fortunes take a turn. Can Leni control her fate, her feelings and will this year finally be the one in which she changes her life - or is her destiny already written in the stars? About the author: Shari’s working life has been nothing if not varied – she has been a nightclub manager in Glasgow and Shanghai; run a leisure complex in Hong Kong, and was a big name in loo paper sales. After getting engaged six times, she finally made it down the aisle with the man of her dreams. Two children later, Shari now spends her days writing books, screenplays and two weekly columns for the Daily Record. Shari is available for interviews and features on a wide variety of subjects. Shari has made a variety of New Year’s resolutions over the years but they usually don’t make it to the end of the month… |
