One of Chicklit's very own contributors, Sue has a stable of great image related reads. Her latest is Feel Fab At 50.

Sue, President of The Federation of Image Consultants, has written this book from the heart. She has been inspired by her own experience of the years that lead up to the big 50 – a time where she has had to evaluate for herself who she is, and how she wants to look to the outside world.

And she hasn’t been the only one to undertake this unnerving journey. In her work and research with hundreds of female clients, Sue has found that this is the time that many women start to perceive themselves as being invisible, feeling as though they are fading into the background. This can continue to drag on for years, until it culminates in a crisis of confidence that is hard to recover from. And this crisis can happen to any woman, no matter whether she’s married, divorced, single, career woman, new mother or empty-nester. Sue’s seen them all.

And, whilst some may just give up and give into that slow decline, and others may go completely the other way and start wearing clothes more appropriate for someone auditioning for the Pussy Cat Dolls, there is another way. It’s a way that involves rediscovering (or maybe discovering for the first time) that sassy, stylish and maybe even sexy woman that still exists – somewhere – inside.

Feel Fab At 50 is for any woman who is starting to feel fed up with how she looks, but not quite sure of where to go next.

This practical and personal guide covers traditional areas as dressing for your shape, finding a haircut to suit you, and using colour to pick you up both image-wise and psychologically. But Sue’s approach goes much further and also covers areas such as:

* How to work out whether you are a classic, dramatic, casual or creative dresser.
*Fashion Feng Shui, which aligns the physical body with the spirit. Currently, Sue is the only fashion Feng Shui practitioner in the UK, and her clients love the whole idea of elevating the mundane routine of getting dressed into a mindful ritual.
* Using clothes as a tool to help you get more done, introduce excitement or ground yourself.
* Cosmetic surgery and Sue’s own experience.
* Uncovering the sassy woman within.
